A document is stumbled upon that reveals disturbing information about a priest who served as pastor at the parish and associated school where the poster attended elementary school. To the recollection of dozens of fellow parishioners and students who also attended the parish and school from that era, no other effort was made to bring light to the misconduct from that era that is reported in the statements and related information on the Diocese of Gary website. Essentially, the Titko statement was posted quietly.

From there, a chain of more misconduct within the Diocese of Gary was discovered.
